
Until September 23, Boris Hoppek shows his largest to date monothematic exhibition "86 negritos" at a fortress at the coast of Cadiz (Spain). Inspired by the german nursery rhyme "10 kleine Negerlein" (10 little negroes), Boris tells the sad story of african refugees dying at the coast of spain throughout the the museum in Sculptures, Paintings and interactive Installations.
"86 negritos" is a museal drama about racism and immigration politics. And a real refugee boat, filled with 86 cardboard sculptures, is swimming in the rough sea outside the fortress...
