We here at heliumcowboy are featuring Julia Benz in the upcoming exhibition -"LOST IN TRAINSTATION
The vernissage opens september 25th.

Meanwhile, you can check out her latest and largest 280qm mural project "YALLA" in Lierenfeld, Düsseldorf.

This project was realized in co-operation with WDR "WestArt goes StreetART". Benz, inspired by her last trip to Khartoum Sudan, softly visualized a veiled woman, wearing a traditional 'tobe' . "Veiled does not necessarily mean repressed". Focus point of her mural lies in the openness, warmth and love of the people there, which she experienced.

If you're not in the area, WDR will air a WestArt Extra on tuesday September 8th at 22 30h, don't miss this!!
